After completing his architectural studies in Florence, Andrea Branzi moved to Milan in 1973, where he still lives and teaches as director of the Product Design department at the Polytechnic University. From 1964 to 1974 he was part of Archizoom Associates and later co-founded the Domus Academy, receiving the Compasso D'Oro award for his professional career in 1987. He is the author of several books on the history and theory of design.
