He exhibited at the Galleria Vigna Nuova in Florence, together with the artists Roberto Barni and Umberto Buscioni; the group, which also included Adolfo Natalini, was later named the Scuola di Pistoia by the critic Cesare Vivaldi.
1967
This marked the beginning of a period of international fame for the Scuola di Pistoia, which lasted until the end of the 1960s; the group exhibited in Italy and in other countries, such as New York and Munich.

Poltronova launches La Cova, initially designed in 1969.
