Three solo exhibitions show the sculptor's proximity to Pop Art

1965
He exhibited at the Galleria Vigna Nuova in Florence, together with the artists Roberto Barni and Umberto Buscioni; the group, which also included Adolfo Natalini, was later named the Scuola di Pistoia by the critic Cesare Vivaldi.

1967
This marked the beginning of a period of international fame for the Scuola di Pistoia, which lasted until the end of the 1960s; the group exhibited in Italy and in other countries, such as New York and Munich.

1973
Poltronova launches La Cova, initially designed in 1969.

1975
He designs the Albagia series (table, bench and sideboard) for Poltronova.

1980
