Architect, interior designer, product designer and artistic director with an extensive list of projects for hotels, restaurants and public spaces in South East Asia, the United States, Italy, France and around the world, Paola Navone’s approach is direct, visionary and eclectic, with a passion for the flavours and colours of the much-loved and well-travelled Southern Hemisphere, together with the tastes and styles of the Western world, with its wealth of traditions, open-mindedness and creative energy. All this has translated into a boundless curiosity, in the search for materials, shapes and structures, of the present, the past and the future. Founder of OTTO, the Milanese design studio she runs together with Gian Paolo Venier, Cristina Pettenuzzo and Domenico Diego, she has curated numerous exhibitions around the world and collaborated with big names in Italian and international design. Among the numerous international awards received are the Osaka International Design Award, several Elle Deco International Design Awards for product design, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award, as well as a nomination to the Design Hall of Fame by New York-based Interior Design magazine.
