PUNCH A WALL is a real punching bag, presented as a column of bricks. In this piece, Studio Job uniquely plays with the dichotomy between soft and hard, dream and reality, creating an unpredictable circuit of perceptions and expectations, and following the limitless experimentation that a material like expanded polyurethane allows.

Finished entirely by hand by Gufram craftsmen , the PUNCH A WALL is made of expanded polyurethane through the use of a mould, and then coated with Guflac® .

Job Smeets founded Studio Job in 1998, combining traditional and modern techniques to produce once-in-a-lifetime objects.
