Born in Lecce in 1966, Fabio Novembre soon moved to Milan, where he graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic in 1992. The following year he left for New York, where he attended a film directing course, which was undoubtedly decisive for the inspiration it would bring to his projects throughout his professional career. For three years, starting in 2000, Fabio Novembre was artistic director of Bisazza, a Venetian glass mosaic factory, and from 2001 he began to collaborate with important international design brands, such as Cappellini and Driade. He has had a long collaboration with Driade, which culminated first with the great success of the Nemo polyethylene chair (2009), whose silhouette is inspired by the face of an ancient Greek statue, and then with his appointment as artistic director of the company in 2019.
